HESCA JOUBERT
Recently became the spouse of Dawie. Even though they don’t have any children yet, she is nurturing a ‘brood’ of another kind: a Masters degree in linguistics and Intimacy4us. Her undergraduate qualifications include a BA in Communications (cum laude) and Honours in Afrikaans (cum laude) from the North-West University. During her time as a student she has worked part-time for Kampus-Beeld (Potch), Spat! (Aardklops’ festival newspaper), various community newspapers and certain in-house publications. Her free time is spent getting better acquainted with her camera, devouring all sorts of reading matter (to improve the grey matter), enjoying a glass of red (especially Raka Malbec) and surfing… the internet that is.
ANNELIZE STEYN
Annelize survives on the colours, words and sounds that this life has to offer. She writes anything and everything that it is possible to write – fiction, non-fiction, poems, music and lyrics. Married to Ernest, they have a two year old little prince who she is head over heels in love with, and a second little miracle on the way! When she is not trying to catch up on sleep, she enjoys discovering hidden jewels (places and tastes) with her husband and through her child’s eyes. She is a self-confessed magazine junkie, but is just as in love with fairytales.
